Support Worker - ASC - Sefton - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Supply Jobs for SEND TA Jobs

Job Title: Support Worker - ASC
Axcis Education are working in partnership with a college in Sefton, who are looking for support workers to start full time work in a brand new residential setting. The role will be working in a residential home for young adults aged 17 - 24 and will involve elements of personal care, helping with daily tasks such as cooking, shopping and escorting the service users to and from the college to the residential home. The residential setting is home to service users with a range SEND including ASC, complex needs, SEMH and PMLD so applicants will ideally have experience within a similar setting. Any further training or skills such as Team Teach or manual handling would be beneficial to your application but is not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand new team, working 5 days a week full time on £9.50 - £10.50 per hour. Shift patterns would likely be either 7:15am - 3:15pm or 2:15pm - 10:15pm. Axcis Education offer endless opportunities for CPD and additional training such as Team Teach and Makaton. Interviews will be held in the next few weeks. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Charlotte Holmes at Axcis Education on 0151 448 2810. INDJOBS

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
