Axcis Education is proud to be working with a specialist residential setting, that is currently looking for a support worker on a full-time, longer-term basis. The ideal support worker with have experience supporting vulnerable adults with a range of additional needs such as: mental health, complex needs and those that display challenging behaviour. A passion for supporting services users and residents in every aspect of their life is essential; as is having a flexible, good natured character. The role requires the support worker to support residents with all aspects of their life - encouraging them to be independent. Although the majority of the role is based in one site,there is opporunity to engage with service users outside of the setting with trips out, charity events and other offsite activities, aims to stimulate senses and encourage independent living. This specialist setting caters for vulnerable teenagers and adults with a range of needs: mental health, autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour. It is based in Trafford and is accessible by car and by public transport. The setting has a great reputation both locally and nationwide.
