You will be supporting children and young adults with a range of learning disabilities, social and emotional mental health difficulties, Autism, complex needs and those who display challenging behaviours in their homes.
Shift patterns vary from a few hours, mornings 08.30-16.30, lates 3.30-22.00, long days 09.00-22.00 and waking nights. The shifts are flexible and you can choose how many you want to do each week. I am looking for support workers who are experienced working with children or adults and those who would be happy working on a 1:1 / 2:1 basis. Experience of working with challenging behaviour is desirable especially if you have positive behaviour management training. The students live in homes supported by individuals around them and dependant on your skill set, you would be paired up with a learner / home where your strengths would be most utilised.

We offer competitive rates of pay and a fantastic refer a friend scheme where you can earn up to £250 in high-street vouchers. At Axcis, we value our support staff and the hard work they put in on a daily basis. You will have a professional consultant who will be your point of contact throughout your time working for us.
