Job Title: Teacher PMLD needs
We’re looking for a dedicated PMLD Teacher to join our team at a special needs college in Haringey. In this fulfilling role, you'll collaborate with Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Care Workers to deliver tailored educational programmes for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Position Details: Job Title: PMLD Teacher Location: Special Needs College, Haringey (N22) Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM, Full-time (or at least every Monday and Wednesday) Contract: Permanent, Full-time Key Responsibilities: Adapt teaching strategies to support the diverse needs of students with PMLD. Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages student independence and self-esteem. Track and monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure success. Work closely with TAs and Care Workers to provide holistic support. Ideal Candidate: Experience as a PMLD Teacher, preferably with college-aged students. Relevant teaching qualification and safeguarding knowledge. Warm, empathetic, and able to build trusting relationships with students and families. Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with complex needs.
