Full-Time: Monday to Friday
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Are you a qualified teacher (QTS) looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
We are seeking a SEND Teacher to join our supportive and specialist school community this September, seeking a full-time role. Our setting supports pupils with a range of complex needs, and we are looking for someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience (or a strong interest) in working in a SEND setting
Be skilled in adapting lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs
Show confidence in managing behaviour in a calm and positive manner
Understand how to work with EHCPs and set realistic, supportive learning targets
Be a nurturing presence, able to build strong, trusting relationships with students
Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team including TAs, therapists, and external professionals
