Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEND)
Teaching Assistant (SEND) – Knowsley
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a well-established SEND school in the Knowsley area. This school provides support to students of all ages with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and MLD. They are looking to appoint someone full-time on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them navigate their educational journey with compassion and understanding. You’ll be part of a team committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student can thrive. The school has onsite parking and is well-connected by public transport.
Role Details:
Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
Provide personalised support for students with additional needs.
Work closely with teaching staff to ensure each student’s individual needs are met.
Engage with students both 1:1 and in small group settings.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism, ADHD, or MLD.
Empathetic and hard-working, with a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Committed to a long-term role and available to start as soon as possible.
