Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Year 1 Class)
Teaching Assistant Vacancy (Year 1 Class) Location: St Helens, Merseyside Start Date: September 2024 Axcis are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Year 1 class. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons. • Provide support to individual pupils and small groups to enhance their learning experience. • Help with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment. • Support pupils with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements. • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays. • Supervise and engage with children during playtime and lunchtime. • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
