Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Have you ever supported young people with SEND or worked with vulnerable adults? Axcis Education is looking for a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant for a role supporting students with ASD, SEMH and Dyslexia at a mainstream secondary school in Bridgwater Working hours for this role are between 8.30 to 3.30 and the daily rate of pay is £87.04 (£13.39/hr). Responsibilities include: • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, adapting teaching methods to their needs • Support students to ensure engagement in their academic achievement • Work towards student’s individual EHCPs and collaborate with other teaching staff to do so • Ensuring the safeguarding of the students Requirements for this role include experience working with individuals with SEND, individuals with a caring and empathetic approach as well as strong communication and written English skills.
