Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? A vibrant mainstream primary school in Brent is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.
About the Role
Position: Teaching Assistant (Reception Class)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £84+ per day
Key Responsibilities
Supporting reception-aged students in their day-to-day learning and development.
Providing 1:1 and group support, particularly for students with ASD and challenging behaviour.
Assisting with the implementation of tailored strategies to help students achieve their potential.
Being open to providing personal care when required (advantageous but not essential).
Requirements
Experience:
UK-based experience in schools, or in a support/youth worker role, is essential.
Proven experience supporting children with ASD and managing challenging behaviours.
Skills:
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
A proactive and supportive approach to classroom responsibilities.
