Job Title: Teaching Assistants Needed in Plymouth Alternative Provision
Axcis Education is looking for compassionate and dedicated teaching assistants to join our supply team in a local Alternative Provision in Plymouth. If you are patient, understanding, and committed to supporting young people, this could be the perfect role for you. Skills and experience from the health and social care industry are highly transferable to SEND schools, whether you’ve worked with children or young adults with additional needs. This is a full-time role starting ASAP. While business insurance and a driving license are desirable, they are not essential. In this role, you will support vulnerable young people with a range of needs, including challenging behaviour, SEMH, and complex needs. These schools focus on helping students build social skills, confidence, resilience, and independence, ensuring they are well-prepared for adulthood.
