Job Title: Youth or Care Workers for Educational Setting
Youth Workers & Care Workers for Educational Setting - St Helens Axcis are currently recruiting for Youth Workers and/or Care Workers to support vulnerable pupils across various SEND settings and schools in St Helens and the surrounding areas. Axcis Education are an education agency that specialise in special educational needs and disabilities and have work in mainstream primary and secondary schools, SEND schools, alternative provisions, care homes and PRU's. We particularly want to talk to people who have worked with children or adults with SEND, and are unfazed by challenging behaviour and can remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, proactive and resilient. Those trained in Team Teach, MAPA or similar will be at an advantage. Some of the children/adults we support have ADHD, Attachment disorders, SEMH, challenging behaviour and ODD, PMLD, SPLD - plus more. However, we can support you with a range of free qualification and coursed to help with your continue professional development, including your Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
