Job Title: Youth Support Worker
Axcis Education is collaborating with a well-regarded college in Radstock to find a dedicated Youth Support Worker. This full-time role involves providing one-on-one assistance to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Starting immediately, the position offers a daily rate of £96.23 and has the potential to become permanent after an initial period.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer personalised support to students with PMLD, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Assist in implementing tailored learning plans, adapting materials to meet each student's unique needs.
• Encourage students' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
• Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver consistent and effective support.
• Help with personal care tasks as required, maintaining the dignity and respect of each student.
About You:
• Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities or similar needs is highly desirable.
• A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students.
• Relevant qualifications in education or care are advantageous but not essential.
