Job Title: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEMH Pupil - Torbay
Axcis Education are working with a college in Torbay who are looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a post 16 pupil with SEMH and Anxiety. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with SEND students and knowledge of working with SEMH students. Working hours are typically 8.30-3.30 with a lunch break of 30 minutes. The rate of pay for this position is between £85-£100 a day, depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
The college are looking for a candidate who possess the following:
- Previous experience working with SEND pupils, preferably pupils with SEMH and anxiety.
- A resilient, calm attitude.
- A drive to support pupils with SEND in achieving their academic goals.
- An ability to use their initiative and make good decisions during stressful circumstances.
- A nurturing approach to building positive relationships with reluctant individuals.
