Job Title: Arts Technician/ Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education work closely alongside an all aged SEND school in Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire. This school offers an education to students aged between 3-19 years with the following needs: - Communication & Interaction - Cognition & Learning - Social, Emotional Mental Health - Sensory and/or physical needs This particular role is for a Arts Technician Special Needs Teaching Assistant, the requirements are below: - Interest in visual and performing arts - Technical ability with music and recording - A good understanding of PowerPoint - This is a long term, full time role. Requirements: • Experience in working on a one to one basis – Essential • Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs – Essential • Willingness to adapt to each classroom - Essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential The daily rate of pay for a SEND Teaching Assistant is £95.29 to £105.29.
