Job Title: ASD Teaching assistant
Axcis Education urgently require Teaching Assistants for full- time roles in Brentwood, Essex. About your new job: This role is based in a mainstream secondary school, which has a SEND a provision. The school has an excellent senior leadership team and is well regarded in the local community. The successful candidate for this role will work with students both in groups and on a one-to-one basis. This school caters for children with a variety of SEND requirements, including ADHD, ASD and SEMH. Therefore, the successful candidate for this role will need to be adaptable because the children you will work with will have differing needs. Previous experience of working with children with ASD and/ or behavioural issues in UK schools is a distinct advantage.
