Job Title: Support Student Assistant
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants and Care Workers to join our team at a SEND school located in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a rewarding environment with college and Six Forms Students with complex needs, physical difficulties and ASD. Key Responsibilities: • Support teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons tailored to students with special educational needs and disabilities • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with their academic and personal development • Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene as required Requirements: • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities is preferred • UK experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skill • Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging behaviour • Relevant qualifications or training in special education, child development, care work, or a related field is a plus • Enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service Hours are 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, part-time or cover shifts available.
