This is an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs, specifically ADHD and autism, in one of the largest primary schools in the city. About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant in this school, you will: • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEND, fostering their academic and personal development. • Assist with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs. • Help children develop positive attitudes to learning and achieve their full potential. • Promote independence and social interaction in line with the school’s ethos of kindness, respect, and ambition. • Work collaboratively with a dedicated and supportive team of staff in a vibrant, diverse school community. The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking someone who: • Has experience supporting children with ADHD, autism, or other SEND in a primary school setting. • Is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about making a positive difference in children’s lives. • Can adapt to the needs of individual pupils and encourage their participation and success in learning. • Holds relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) or has equivalent experience.
