Job Title: Autism Teaching assistant

What You’ll Do: As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will: • Work closely with students in small groups or 1:1 setting, helping them navigate their learning and emotional development. • Support students in engaging with therapeutic and creative programs, such as art, music or outdoor learning. • Be a positive role model, guiding students through challenges with patience and care. • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment. About You: We’re looking for compassionate individuals who bring: • Experience or a strong interest in working with children with autism, SEMH or other SEND needs. • A patient, adaptable and empathetic nature. • Great communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with school staff. • The ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and calmly. Ideal Backgrounds: If you have experience in nurseries, colleges, youth clubs, residential care or have personal experience supporting individuals with SEND, we’d love to hear from you! Graduates in sociology, psychology, sports, music, art or drama are also encouraged to apply.
