Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties.
Work closely with teachers and staff to implement behavior management strategies and individualised support plans.
Foster positive relationships with students, helping them build confidence, self-esteem, and social skills.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the wider team.
Support a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being.
Assist with de-escalating challenging situations and implementing restorative practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with behavioral, emotional, or social difficulties (e.g., in education, youth work, or a similar setting).
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.
Resilience, patience, and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
A proactive and solution-focused approach to supporting young people.
Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies is desirable.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
