Salary: £83.40 per day
Contract: Full-time and Part-time roles available, Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30
Start Date: February 28th

About the Role:
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oldland Common, Bristol.
This school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. As an SEND TA, you will be working closely with children who have a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, Down Syndrome and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to children with SEND, helping them engage in lessons and develop key skills.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies and interventions.
• Assist with social and emotional development, encouraging a safe and positive learning environment.
• Support children with communication and sensory needs, adapting activities as required.
• Help facilitate structured play and outdoor learning opportunities.
• Encourage independence and confidence in students through positive reinforcement techniques.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children with SEND, either in a school setting or similar environment.
• A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
• Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not required).
