It will involve teaching a range of subjects with the goal of developing the whole child. You will be expected to teach the essentials, such as English and Maths, whilst supporting with the development of key skills, including citizenship studies, communication, emotional literacy and practical, transferable skills that will aid with independent living. Key Details: Salary: £110 - £140 per day Hours: 8.15am – 3.30pm Contract Type: Full-time with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. The ideal candidate has: • Experience working with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. • Confidence setting boundaries and implementing behaviour policies. • Experience working in an alternative provision or similar (youth support work/mental health support assistant) • Relevant training (Thrive/Team Teach/MAPA) • The ability to be adaptable and resilient. • Full-time availability. • A DBS registered with the Update Service.
