Location: Oldham/Rochdale, Lancashire
Contract Type: Part-Time, Flexible (2-5 days per week, depending on your availability)
Salary: £140 - £200 per day, depending on experience and school

About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and versatile General Cover Teachers with Primary QTS to join our dynamic team, providing high-quality education and support to schools within Oldham and Rochdale. This position is ideal for experienced teachers, retired professionals, and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are seeking to gain additional classroom experience. As a General Cover Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education for students during the absence of their regular class teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and educational lessons from a range of subjects according to school curricula.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to the varied learning needs of pupils.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.
- Work closely with teaching staff and adhere to existing lesson plans and school policies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Requirements:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service is necessary.
- Able to travel up to 1 hour on public transport or 30 minutes by car to reach schools within the area.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
