With increasing demand from schools across the Tameside Borough, we need skilled individuals to provide one-to-one support to students in primary, secondary, and further education settings. About the Role As a Tutor with Axcis, you will: - Provide tailored one-to-one support for students in various settings, including primary and secondary schools and further education institutions. - Work closely with school staff to create and deliver engaging, individualised lesson plans that address the unique needs and learning goals of each student. - Help students improve their academic performance, build confidence, and develop essential skills. - Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting your approach to maximise impact. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting inclusion and motivation. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking individuals who: - Have experience in teaching, tutoring, or providing academic support in an educational setting. - Are confident in delivering lessons in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science (additional subjects are a bonus). - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff. - Have a proactive and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with SEND. - Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
