Job Title: Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant in Rubery B31
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team at a dynamic school in Rubery (B31). The ideal candidate will be dynamic, empathetic, and committed to providing tailored support to students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.
The Role Includes:
• Collaborating with teachers to understand students' SEND needs and objectives
• Providing in-class support to help students stay engaged and complete tasks
• Offering one-to-one or small group tuition as required
• Encouraging student independence and self-confidence in a positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
• A confident, proactive, and patient approach to supporting young learners with SEND and challenging behaviour
• Ability to develop engaging learning strategies and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong rapport with students
• Working Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm
• Pay: Starting from £85 per day (PAYE), dependent on experience and relevant qualifications
