**About Us:**
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with educators to create a nurturing and effective learning environment, particularly for primary school students with challenging behaviour, ASD, and ADHD.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the delivery of daily lesson plans and educational activities under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students with special educational needs, including those with challenging behaviour, ASD, and ADHD.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and contribute to creating a supportive and structured learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, and provide feedback to the lead teacher to adapt learning plans accordingly.
- Facilitate social integration and help students develop age-appropriate social skills.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials, equipment, and class setup to ensure a dynamic and engaging classroom.
- Accompany and supervise students during outdoor activities, field trips, and other school-related events.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Teacher Assistant within a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding and experience with behavioural management, and supporting children with ASD and ADHD.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive, encouraging outlook.
