Job Title: Full time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £85-£95 a day Hours: 08:30-15:30 Type: Monday - Friday Start Date: September 2024 Role: SEN Teaching Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support children with special needs in a school in St Austell. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and a commitment to providing individualised support to help them thrive academically and personally. Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting - Assist students with academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care as needed - Implement educational strategies and interventions to support student learning and development - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents on a regular basis Qualifications: - Previous experience working with children with special needs is preferred - Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team and independently - Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and contribute to their growth and development.
