Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH Focus
Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in Bodmin that supports children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs, both 1:1 and in small group settings Assist in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated learning activities Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) Promote positive behaviour and support pupils in managing emotional challenges Foster strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, and families Requirements: Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs is essential A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills This role begins in September 2025, and salary will be dependent on experience.
