Location: Slough Start Date: January 2025 Position: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: From £83.40 per day Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a committed and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Slough. This is a full-time position starting in January 2025, supporting students aged 4-18 with a range of needs, including ASD, complex needs, PMLD, SLD, SEMH and challenging behaviour. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, fostering positive relationships and enabling them to thrive. • Adapt to the needs of different classes and age groups (4-18 years old). • Assist with personal care as required. • Promote effective communication and engagement with children, helping them achieve their potential. Requirements: • Willingness to assist with personal care tasks. • Some personal or professional experience supporting individuals with special needs in any setting (e.g. care, school, home). • Flexibility to work across a variety of classes and age ranges. • A good command of English for clear and effective communication. • Ability to build positive relationships with children who have diverse needs and behaviours.
