Are you a passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), Early Years Teacher, or KS1 Teacher with experience in intervention strategies and structured learning? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Seven Kings, Ilford, is looking for a committed professional to take on a long-term role leading a unique hybrid discovery room classroom. About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a hybrid discovery room classroom, working with small groups of children who require additional support in their learning and development. You will be delivering intervention programs such as Attention Autism, designed to enhance engagement, communication, and social interaction. Over the coming weeks and months, the school will be introducing a structured learning environment, and they are looking for someone with the experience, patience, and leadership skills to guide this transition effectively. Your role will be integral in shaping this space into a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning hub for pupils who benefit from a more focused approach to their education. Key Responsibilities: • Lead intervention groups, including Attention Autism, to support children’s communication and engagement. • Develop and implement structured learning strategies tailored to the needs of the pupils. • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment. • Adapt lesson plans and activities to suit individual learning styles and needs. • Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere to help children develop confidence and independence. Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with: ? HLTA qualification or extensive experience as an Early Years/KS1 Teacher ? A strong understanding of early childhood development and intervention strategies ? Experience working with children who require additional learning support ? Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet diverse learning needs ? A proactive approach to creating a structured and engaging learning environment Role Details: ??
