Job Title: HR Manager
HR Manager – Wandsworth Secondary School An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a vibrant and welcoming secondary school in Wandsworth. We are seeking a candidate with prior experience in schools, ideally holding an HR qualification. Familiarity with SIMS is highly desirable. Start Date: Immediate This role is available for an immediate start, allowing for a thorough handover period before the current HR Manager’s retirement at the end of July. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee and manage the recruitment and interview process. -Address staff HR queries and coordinate updates or changes as required. -Collaborate with external HR advisors to manage complex HR issues. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff HR records. -Administer DBS checks and ensure the Single Central Record is accurate and current. -Update and manage staff contract details on SIMS. -Support the admin team in resolving day-to-day operational challenges. -Monitor staff absence, report monthly, and execute agreed actions. -Source cover and temporary staff as needed, monitoring attendance, timesheets, and invoices. -Coordinate with SLT and the admin team to produce annual staff review letters and statements.
