Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Axcis Education are working with a special school situated in Exeter who are seeking a number of learning support assistants to support their pupils on a full time basis. Working hours for these positions are Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 3.30, term time only. This special school caters for pupils aged 11 - 16, with varied complex needs and abilities including moderate or severe learning difficulties and autism. Pupils may also have speech and language and communication difficulties, sensory impairments and/or physical disabilities. The school are looking for support staff who are skilled and committed to ensuring their pupils have the best possible foundation to progress into adulthood. To apply for these full time SEN teaching assistant roles you must have previously supported individuals with additional needs, although this does not need to have been within a school environment. You must be a team player, reliable and have a great sense of humour!
