Job Title: LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and dynamic learning atmosphere. Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work with both SEND and mainstream students, providing essential support to facilitate their academic and personal development. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students. Key Responsibilities: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored educational programs for both SEND and mainstream students. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs. Implement and manage behaviour strategies to promote a positive learning environment. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with other staff members and professionals to support students' educational and social development. Requirements: Previous experience working with SEND and mainstream students. Strong behaviour management skills. Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students' individual needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive and flexible, with the ability to work across both SEND and mainstream settings. Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEND support are desirable but not essential.
