We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a dynamic college in Bromley. Position Details: • Role: Learning Support Assistant (SEND) • Location: Bromley • Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing • Start Date: Immediate Key Responsibilities: • Provide targeted support to SEND students, both one-to-one and in group settings, to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. • Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons by adapting materials and resources to suit individual learning needs. • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student independence and confidence. • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for additional support. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. Requirements: • Classroom Experience: Proven experience working in an educational setting, supporting teaching and learning activities. • SEND Experience: Previous experience working with students with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, or other learning difficulties. • Academic Background: A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field is highly desirable. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting learners with diverse needs.
