Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Do you have the drive, passion and commitment to deliver outstanding support to help young people? Do you have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification? If so, Axcis Education is looking to register Level 2 Teaching Assistants over the summer break who are fully cleared and looking for work starting in September 2024 in the Stockport and Tameside area. To be considered, applicants must be Level 2 TA qualified or equivalent, you must have recent experience supporting children in both primary and secondary aged children with Special Educational Needs. . NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification e.g. Teaching Assistant awards, English GCSE (A*-C), Level 2 Basic Skills Literacy, CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Child Care and Education . Experience of working with children of the age with which the post is concerned. . Knowledge & understanding of at least one area of learning, e.g. English, Maths, Science, SEN, Early Years, and KS 3 Strategy for literacy or numeracy. . Able to plan own work and to exercise initiative and independent action. . Able to relate well to adults and children their learning difficulties and their needs.
