We are looking for dedicated Lunchtime Supervisors to join our Primary SEN Department team and help create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for our pupils during lunch breaks. About the Role As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will: -Supervise and support children with special educational needs during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and outdoor/indoor play areas. -Encourage positive social interactions and promote good behaviour in line with the school’s policies. -Assist pupils with eating, where required, and ensure dietary needs and preferences are respected. -Engage pupils in play and social activities to ensure a happy and active break time. -Maintain the safety and wellbeing of pupils, intervening where necessary to prevent incidents. What We’re Looking For We are seeking individuals who: -Have a patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach. -Understand or are willing to learn about the needs of children with SEN. -Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with both children and colleagues. -Have good observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. -Are reliable, punctual, and committed to making a difference. -Experience working with children or within an SEN environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
