Job Title: Lunch Time Supervisor
Location: Tottenham N17
Hours: 2 hours per day (term time only)
Are you enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for dedicated Lunchtime Supervisors to join our Primary SEN Department team and help create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for our pupils during lunch breaks.
About the Role
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:
-Supervise and support children with special educational needs during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and outdoor/indoor play areas.
-Encourage positive social interactions and promote good behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
-Assist pupils with eating, where required, and ensure dietary needs and preferences are respected.
-Engage pupils in play and social activities to ensure a happy and active break time.
-Maintain the safety and wellbeing of pupils, intervening where necessary to prevent incidents.

We are seeking individuals who:
-Have a patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach.
-Understand or are willing to learn about the needs of children with SEN.
-Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with both children and colleagues.
-Have good observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
-Are reliable, punctual, and committed to making a difference.
-Experience working with children or within an SEN environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
