Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are working with a fantastic primary school in Bristol to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This full-time role will involve working within the Nursery provision, supporting young children at a critical stage of their development.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, you will:
• Provide hands-on support to children aged 3-5 in their learning and development.
• Assist with a range of activities, from play-based learning to early literacy and numeracy.
• Support children with varying needs, including those requiring additional help to integrate socially or academically.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment in the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking someone who:
• Has experience working in an Early Years setting, either in a school or nursery environment.
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
• Is enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about supporting young learners.
• Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
