Axcis Education are currently working with a lovely village primary school outside of St Austell who are seeking an experienced teaching assistant or someone who has experience working with Autism. You would be working on a 1:1 basis with a year 1 pupil who has PDA ( Pathological Demand Avoidance). You will need to demonstrate confidence, perseverance, patience and be nurturing in your approach. The role will begin in September 2024 and the hours for this role are Monday – Friday 9am-11:45am. This role will start on a temporary basis and is likely to become permanent for the right candidate.
