Job Title: Pastoral Mentor
Pastoral Mentors Wanted – Rochdale and Middleton Campuses Location: Rochdale and Middleton Pay: £100-£110 per day Hours: 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM, 4 or 5 days a week A mainstream college in Rochdale is seeking dedicated Pastoral Mentors to join their team. These roles involve working across various subjects and supporting students with a range of needs including ASC, Dyslexia, Down syndrome, SEMH needs, and challenging behavior. Key Responsibilities: Work with students to support their individual needs. Utilize and personalize a provided basic resource kit. Monitor and report student progress against their EHCP. Participate in CPD opportunities and training. Follow health and safety guidelines, including PPE provision when required. Requirements: Experience in an educational setting in the UK (Primary, Secondary, SEND, or Early Years) or a background in youth support roles (e.g., Youth Worker, Residential Worker, Young Offenders Officer). Understanding of SEND and EHCPs. Ability to take and act on constructive feedback. Good knowledge of SEND practices. Benefits: Comprehensive CPD and training opportunities.
