Axcis Education are working with a mainstream secondary school situated in the Barnstaple area who are looking to fill a pastoral teaching assistant support role from September 2024. Working hours for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 3.30, term time only. In this pastoral support role the successful applicant will be required to work with pupils on a 1-1 basis who are finding school life difficult, or who require emotional support. Pastoral care is a provision schools make to ensure the physical and emotional welfare of their pupils. A successful pastoral support program will have all pupils feeling safe, happy, involved in school life and able to perform to their full potential.
