Job Title: Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are working with a primary school situated on the outskirts of St Austell who are seeking experienced individuals to work with children with additional needs in support role. The positions are all full time, working hours will be 8.30am – 3.15pm, Monday – Friday, term time only. The school are ideally wanting the roles to commence from September 2024 but could be flexible for the right person. In these full time support roles you will be working on a 1-1 basis with children who have a range of needs including autism, ADHD and global delay, as well as children who can display challenging behaviour. The school are seeking applicants who have either personal or professional experience of supporting individuals with special educational needs, this does not necessarily need to have been within an education setting, although this would be advantageous. You should be flexible, committed, patient and caring. Due to the location of the school you do need to have access to your own transport.
