Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful and welcoming special needs school in the Sandwell area. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, where you will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to help them thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
• Provide 1:1 and small group assistance.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote student engagement.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities.
• Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience working in a classroom or with children, ideally within a special needs setting.
• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students.
• Experience working with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups is preferred.
