An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a vibrant primary school situated in the scenic area of Bournemouth, Dorset. The school is currently seeking a full-time Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher, specifically for a Year 3 class, to commence in September. An initial temporary position, this role offers the prospect of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Responsible for the academic and social development of a Year 3 class.
- Regularly assessing and recording students' progress, and providing feedback.
- Creating a stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Effectively managing classroom behavior to ensure a good learning atmosphere.
- Working collaboratively with support staff within the classroom.
- Developing and fostering appropriate relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
- Involvement in the organization and participation of school events and activities.
- Contributing to the school’s objectives and ethos.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching KS2, particularly Year 3, is highly desirable.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a capability to inspire and motivate pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching.
- Highly organized with an ability to plan effectively.
