Job Vacancy: PSHE and Citizenship Teacher (SEND) - PRU
Location: Ladbroke Grove
Working Hours: 08:30-16:00, Monday to Friday
Are you an adaptable and experienced PSHE and Citizenship teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? Axcis Education is looking for a dedicated teacher to join a dynamic Pupil Referral Unit in the Ealing area. The ideal candidate will be teaching 13-17 year olds, with class sizes upto 8.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan and deliver engaging PSHE and Citizenship lessons, tailored to meet individual student needs.
-Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and wellbeing.
-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and support staff.
-Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of abilities and learning styles.
Requirements:
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
-Proven experience working with SEND students, particularly in PRU or alternative provisions.
-Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage students, staff, and parents.
-Patience, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach.
