Job Title: Secondary SEN Teacher (QTS)
Location: Tower Hamlets
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Students: Aged 11-19 (SLD & PMLD)
Contract: Temporary
Salary: daily pay rates from £140 a day
Are you an experienced SEN Teacher (QTS) looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to support students aged 11-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in a nurturing school environment.
The Role
In this temporary position, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
• Support students with communication, sensory, and physical needs
• Work alongside teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff
• Use specialist strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices
• Promote independence, personal care, and social development
Requirements – Must Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum 6 months UK Secondary SEN teaching experience
• Strong English communication skills
• A Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service
