Axcis are currently looking for an encouraging, positive and dedicated experienced Teaching Assistant who has previously worked in either an alternative provision or PRU, SEND school or mainstream school. The Teaching Assistant would be required to work with children who have social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and are of a challenging nature, therefore it is essential for the right candidate to have good behaviour management techniques and is able to remain calm when in a challenging environment. You will help supervise and support young people across KS3 and KS4, to ensure their safety and access to learning, by assisting pupils in overcoming learning barriers and helping achieve their full potential.
