Job Title: SEMH - Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm A vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. About the Role: This full-time role is focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will work closely with both teaching staff and pastoral teams to ensure students are supported in accessing the curriculum, managing emotions, and developing confidence and independence. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEMH needs. Help implement individual support plans and behaviour strategies. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt resources and support classroom learning. Build positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress. Requirements: Previous experience supporting students with SEMH in a secondary school setting (essential). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
