Job Title: SEN Experienced Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: South West London
Contract: Supply / Temporary
Working Hours: 08:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday, Term time only
Daily Rate: Pay rates starting from £83
We are seeking a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team on a supply basis at primary and secondary schools across South West London. This role is perfect for someone who can make an immediate, positive impact within a vibrant learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across all primary year groups.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils, providing tailored support to help meet their academic and social needs.
• Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements:
• Minimum of GCSE-level qualifications in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above).
• Clear spoken English and excellent communication skills.
• Prior UK-based experience working with SEN students.
• An enhanced child and adult DBS check, current and registered on the update service.
• Be comfortable with personal care
The ideal candidate will have a warm and approachable demeanour, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Flexibility and the ability to build positive relationships with both pupils and staff are essential for this role.
