Job Title: SEN Teacher
Axcis Education is seeking a talented and creative SEN Teacher to join a primary school in Enfield (EN1), supporting Year 4 pupils with Autism. This role will be for the entire summer term. The school is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where students with Autism can develop their academic skills, emotional resilience, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach: Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to Year 4 students with Autism, focusing on their individual learning needs.
Support: Provide one-on-one and group instruction to help students build their academic abilities and self-confidence.
Collaborate: Work closely with the wider team to ensure students receive the necessary support to thrive in their learning environment.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.20 AM to 4 PM.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a primary SEN setting, specifically working with Autism, is preferred but not essential.
A passion for teaching and working with primary-aged students with special educational needs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt lessons and approaches to meet the individual needs of students.
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to supporting students' success.
