SEN Teaching Assistant- Mainstream
Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Ealing, Greater London
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Salary: £95 day rate
Axcis are pleased to be working with a mainstream school in Ealing who are looking to recruit an experienced teaching assistant!
We are looking for various teaching assistance who have experience in dealing with SEND children with speech and language difficulties, Moderate learning difficulties and Autistic spectrum disorder, to work within a classroom setting across our mainstream school. We are looking for strong minded candidates who can work within small groups and 1:1 with children between the ages of 5-11 years.
Axcis are looking for candidates who have experience in any of the below settings supporting a variety of special needs:
- Mainstream Schools
- Youth Clubs
- Personal experience considered (SEND)
- Skilled and experienced in supporting children with a variety of needs.
- Knowledgeable and passionate about SEMH.
- Able to work as part of a team and inspire others.
The position is general in-class support - you may be expected to work one to one, in small groups or providing general in-class support as required. This position also involves one to one support for any child with ASD, ADHD, SEMH…
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant who has worked with physically challenging autistic children in a special needs environment. This role will suit someone who thrives on working with young people and being a positive role model.
