This is a great opportunity to assist in the education of students in various subjects during teacher absences, ensuring they remain engaged with their lessons, and maintaining a productive classroom environment. The school supports student aged from 10 to 13. This is an important period of development where students transition from Primary to Secondary education. Students with a range of needs are supported, including learning difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language delays, Social and Emotional Mental Health challenges (SEMH). Main Responsibilities: • Supervise and support students in the absence of their teacher • Keep students engaged, encouraging a productive learning environment • Assist students with SEND, promoting inclusivity What we are looking for: • Experience working with SEND children (preferably in a classroom setting) • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff • Committed to work Monday – Friday from 8.30am-3.30pm • Pay rate: Starting from £83.40, dependant on experience • A genuine interest in the well-being and development of children This is a Full Time role with the opportunity for long term for the right candidate.
